Suzuki Kizashi duo

The New York Auto Show played host to a duo of concepts from Suzuki. The polar opposite Kizashi concepts from the brand take in an eco-minded approach as well as a hardcore turbocharged, race inspired model.

The Ecocharge adopts the necessary virginal white hue, blue lighting and smaller diameter wheels to cement the fact it is environmentally friendly. However, it is not just the Hybrid drivetrain that gives the Ecocharge its credentials, a start/stop system, regenerative braking and wears low-rolling resistance tires are also fitted.

Balancing out this environmental conscious is the motorbike inspired Apex concept. Bequeathed with a large turbocharger and uprated drivetrain components, the Apex concept is said to be a throw back to the infamous Suzuki superbike range. Something echoed in the cars livery, a replica of the Suzuki superbike race design theme. Larger diameter wheels and an alcantara lined race inspired interior finish off the Apex's sporting testimonial.
