The data is collected from swiftcover.com's annual Vehicle Vandalism Index, and this year's results highlight a dramatic shift in the type of vehicles listed in the top 10.

Back in 2011, the top ten was almost exclusively made up of sports and luxury cars, including four BMWs and - topping the tree - the Lexus IS.
This year, things are very different, with places six to 10 dominated by more everyday, run-of-the-mill cars: the Vauxhall Corsa, Peugeot 206, Vauxhall Vectra, Ford Fiesta and Volkswagen Golf. In fact, the number of ‘everyday’ vehicles in the 2013 index has doubled compared to 2012.
