Top Gear Live schedules extra show

TOP GEAR Live has announced an extra show in Glasgow to meet huge demand, after the initial run of three performances sold out almost immediately.

Tickets for the shows at Glasgow’s SSE Hydro venue went on sale on Friday at 9am, but were completely sold out within hours.

Two shows had initially been scheduled for Saturday January 18, with one on Sunday January 19. However, unprecedented demand has led to a fourth show being added later on the Sunday, with 8,000 further tickets now on sale.

It is the first time Top Gear Live has travelled to Scotland, bringing with it presenters Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond, James May and of course the mystery ‘tame racing driver’, the Stig.

The 90-minute spectacular will feature pyrotechnics, stunts and a helping of general buffoonery from Clarkson, Hamster and Captain Slow.

Bronze, Silver and Gold tickets are available for £49, £69 and £89 respectively, with a small number of Platinum tickets offered for £99. More expensive tickets secure seats closer to the action, along with other perks. Buyers should check the full details at www.topgearlive.co.uk.
