Toyota offers peek at redesigned 2012 Camry

A redesigned 2012 Toyota Camry sedan is coming this fall--and Toyota is cranking up the marketing machine.
On Wednesday, Toyota posted a teaser photo of the 2012 Camry--a look at the car's left-front corner, showing the headlamp, hood, a flared wheel arch and the windshield. You can also see a fog light, a clue that this is one of the higher trim levels of the Camry family.
With the teasers now being launched, a full look at the 2012 Toyota Camry isn't too far away, we would guess.
While the sheetmetal will change, we aren't anticipating a dramatic overhaul of the Camry recipe. The car's length, width and height won't change much from the current model. The lineup of four- and six-cylinder engines should stay the same, and there will be a hybrid version. There are reports that the 2012 Toyota Camry interior will be the recipient of a major makeover.
But the Camry Solara coupe is gone, for good.
