Tushek Renovatio T500 Supercar UK debut at Salon Prive
Thu, 16 Aug 2012The Tushek Renovatio T500 – a supercar from a shed in Slovenia – is to get its UK debut at next month’s Salon Prive.
Eastern Europe is starting to produce its own shed supercars, the latest of which is the Tushek Renovatio T500, a decent looking offering from Slovenia.
Based on the K1 Attack kit car, the Renovatio T500 is the brainchild of former racing driver Aljosa Tušek with his Tushek Supercars company planning on a very limited run of just 30 Renovatio T500s over the next four years.
With the 4.2 litre V8 from the Audi R8 – with a few tweaks – the Renovatio T500 produces 450bhp and a chunk of torque which, couple with a weight of just 11kg – promises impressive performance.
Its flat rear deck and cut off roof are reminiscent of the Porsche Carrera, and it gets supercar-required scissor doors, a removable roof and windows and lots of carbon fibre.
Aljosa Tušek is pitching the Renovatio T500 at €300k, a price that could be sillier but is still more than a Lamborghini Aventador (and much more than a McLaren MP4-12C), which is probably why Tushek are only planning on making 30.
Tushek Renovatio T500 will debut in the UK at Salon Prive on 5th September.
