Unique Infiniti Q50 sedans designed by Thom Browne and Zac Posen

Infiniti has teamed up with gilt.com to create two unique Q50 sedans designed by fashion gurus Thom Browne and Zac Posen. These one-of-a-kind sedans will be sold later this year on Gilt, but what are these two sedans all about?
The Infiniti Q50 is all new for 2014, and even though the interior of this luxury sedan is not exactly short on style, designers Browne and Posen have lent their expert abilities in creating these unique sedans.
The Thom Browne Infiniti Q50 features an almost mirror-like chrome finish, while the interior sports the Browne signature red, white, and blue stripe on the seats. A number of sterling silver elements are also found throughout the cabin, placed to evoke old-world sophistication. As you might expect from a one-off designer/automaker collaboration, a set of custom luggage is also included with the car. Browne has also designed a solid silver personal card case featuring his aforementioned stripe, and unlike the Q50 sedan, the card case will be available in 100 examples going on sale in December of this year.

Exotic materials are used in the Infiniti Q50 sedan designed by Zac Posen.
The Zac Posen Infiniti Q50, on the other hand, is finished in a light silver matte paint at the front end, transitioning to a dark gray with a high-gloss finish at the rear. The interior is finished with exotic materials like velvet, shagreen, and leather in shades of red, a stylistic nod to red carpet glamor. Posen has also designed an accessory to go along with the car: a unique smartphone clutch, 350 examples of which will be available on Gilt.
These Infiniti Q50 sedans will be sold for $75,000 each on Dec. 12. The buyers will also receive a $10,000 shopping credit on Gilt.com, and a portion of the sale proceeds will benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
