VW logo gets pupil banned from school
Thu, 16 Jan 2014A schoolboy has been kicked out of lessons after having the Volkswagen logo shaved into his hair.
11-year-old Zac’s mum, Charlotte Eccleston, and her partner both drive Volkswagen Golfs, and they’re his favourite car.

So, when allowed to have a new do over the Christmas holidays, Zac opted to have the VW logo shaved onto the back of his head.
But on returning to school Zac was put into isolation and told the haircut broke strict uniform rules.
Charlotte removed Zac from Camborne Science and Community College in Cornwall and protested that it was unfair on the child.
She said: “I don’t see how a hairstyle could affect a child’s learning. All little boys love cars – what could possibly be wrong with that?”
The school gave Zac the green light to return to school on Monday, by which time the VW logo had almost entirely grown out of his hair.
