Vauxhall Cascada: Price from £23,995
Wed, 16 Jan 2013The Vauxhall Cascada – Vauxhall’s new four-seat convertible – will cost from £23,995 and arrives in Vauxhall showrooms in April 2013.
Starting at £23,995 for the Cascada SE with the 1.4 litre petrol and rising to £29,115 for the Cascada Elite with a 2.0 litre diesel and auto ‘box, the Cascada certainly offers a lot of full-size convertible for the money.
There are just two trim levels available – Cascada SE and Cascada Elite – with the SE coming with 18″ alloys, LED tail lights, DAB, rear parking sensors and USB, The Elite adds in stuff like leather, heated seats, Climate and steering wheel and fog lights.
Engine options are a 1.4 litre turbo petrol with 138bhp, Vauxhall’s new 1.6 litre MGE petrol with 168bhp, a 2.0 litre diesel with 163bhp and the top of the tree 2.0 litre Bi-Turbo diesel with 192bhp
Vauxhall has the Audi A5 Cabriolet in its sights with the Cascada (really?), and are trumpeting that the Cascada costs nearly £8k less than its ‘rival’. But we suggest you look hard and drive both to see where the £8k has been saved if you’re intrigued by the Cascada as an alternative to the German Premium offerings.
The new Vauxhall Cascada Convertible is now on sale with first customer deliveries due in April.
