Vorsteiner dresses, tunes up the BMW 1M

Vorsteiner debuted its GTX-V 1M Program for the BMW 1M coupe. It features a front spoiler, rear diffuser, trunklid, exhaust and forged wheels.
The front lip and trunklid are made from what Vorsteiner calls Autoclave Pre-Preg Carbon Fiber. Compared with the regular stuff, autoclave carbon fiber has superior strength and stiffness due to its unique crafting process.
A carbon-composite rear diffuser sits in back with integrated dual splitters that balance the lower portion of the rear bumper. Rear-facing aerodynamic fins improve performance by increasing downforce.
The sport exhaust system is where the 15 hp and 5 lb-ft of torque are added. It can be made of stainless steel or weight-saving titanium. The system bolts onto the factory points, and the acoustics give a deeper tone with minimal droning, according to Vorsteiner.
Twin seven-spoke, lightweight, race-inspired wheels made from T6 aircraft aluminum complete the package. They minimize unsprung weight while using the factory tire-pressure monitors.
We like the BMW 1M, a lot, but if Vorsteiner were giving cars away, we'd still go with the kitted-up Vorsteiner Ferrari 599.
