There's no shortage of tuner companies taking the fastest cars on the market and making them even faster. Now German tuner Wheels and More has done that with the McLaren SLR and the Ferrari 599 GTO.
For the McLaren SLR and SLR 722, Wheels and More offers exterior upgrades including lightweight, forged wheels from 6Sporz. The 20-inch, six-spoke wheels come wrapped in Dunlop Sport Maxx tires at the breathtaking cost of $12,136. Several color and surface combinations are possible.
Wheels and More also offers a suspension kit for the supercar. The racing coil-overs are forged of superlight aluminum alloy and are fully adjustable. A five-year limited warranty, installation and alignment are included in the $10,797 price.
For the engine, the tuner offers two electronic-control-unit (ECU) packages for the SLR and two for the SLR 722.
The stage-one kit takes the SLR from 626 hp to 650 hp and brings the top speed to 212 mph. The stage-two kit boosts power to 680 hp and a top speed of 214 mph.
On the SLR 722, one kit increases power to 670 hp while the other bumps it all the way to 700 hp. Top speeds are the same. The stage-one kits cost $4,453, while the stage-two kits cost $10,020.
Wheels and More also offers interior upgrades that include carbon fiber, Alcantara and nappa-leather trim.
For the Ferrari 599 GTO and GTB, the company offers the same six-spoke wheels from 6Sporz in 20 inches and 21 inches, with Dunlop Sport Maxx tires.
The power upgrade for the 599 comes from the ECU but also includes a stainless-steel exhaust setup that has remote-controlled valve flaps for controlling the sound. Power goes from an already impressive 620 hp to a pavement-victimizing 715 hp. The ECU and exhaust will set you back $11,882. The exhaust costs $5,664 by itself.
Wheels and More offers a suspension kit for the 599 as well. It comes with a coil-over setup that drops the car 1.57 inches in front and 0.79 inch in back, and a reinforced sway-bar kit. That comes with a price of $2,610.
Drivers looking to go even further can opt for the full race setup, which comes with fully adjustable coil-overs with separated reservoirs at the damper housing and a control unit that allows front and rear lifting of up to 1.18 inches. This race setup will set you back $9,772--on top of the cost of the Ferrari 599, of course.
