Win a Jaguar XJ and help the NSPCC
Mon, 09 Nov 2009Before anyone else in the world, how do you fancy owning the first ever new-generation Jaguar XJ?
To coincide with the launch of its new XJ limo, Jaguar has teamed up with the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC), and hopes to raise £1m for the charity’s helplines by offering lottery tickets with the keys to the first XJ as the prize.
Tickets cost £125 per entry, and along with the donation towards the NSPCC each entrant needs to answer three questions. But don’t worry, they’re easy multiple-choice questions that any CAR reader should know, and if you need help you’ll find the questions and answers in this video in which Piers Morgan introduces the NSPCC competition and the new Jaguar XJ. There is no limit to the number of entries per person and the winner will get the very first XJ – worth over £62,000 – off the production line.
Over the next three years the NSPCC is running its Child’s Voice Appeal to raise £50m for its helplines, and Jaguar’s competition to win an XJ will hopefully raise £1m towards that total.
'To help give more children the support they need, Jaguar, a long-standing supporter of the NSPCC, is giving away the very first customer ready car to be produced,' said managing director of Jaguar UK Geoff Cousins. 'Our new Jaguar XJ is a blend of stunning design, intuitive technology and innovative thinking – this is a unique chance to own the first one, help raise funds for the Child's Voice appeal – and ensure even more calls are answered.'
The competition runs until 25 November and the winner will be announced on 1 December. You can enter now at www.jaguar.co.uk/nspcc. Good luck!
