Win the first new Jaguar XJ
Mon, 19 Oct 2009Jaguar are hoping to raise £1 million for the NSPCC in a ‘Win a new XJ’ competition
But the work of actually getting the XJ in to customers’ hands in now the focus, and although we did an update on the new XJ’s progress recently there is nothing much more to report until cars hit the road in January.
But if you want to have the privilege of owning the very first new XJ off the production line – a 3.0 litre diesel Portfolio worth £62k – you can enter a competition Jaguar are running to give away that very first car.
Jaguar are hoping that sales of tickets for the competition – which cost £125 each – will raise £1 million for the NSPCC’s ‘Child’s Voice’ appeal, which is aiming to raise £50 million in total to fund its helplines. The money raised will help Childline grow so it can answer every call, text and email from children seeking help.
There is no limit to the number of tickets you an buy (except the depth of your pockets) and this is a great way to help a very worthy cause. So if you were intending punting £2 a week on the lottery this year, why not stick it in to a ticket to win a new Jaguar instead?
You’ve got far more chance of winning – and the cause is very worthwhile.
( The competition runs until 25th November and the winner will be announced on 1st December. You just need to answer three questions about the new XJ (hint – all the answers can be found in our XJ Review). Click Here to enter the Jaguar NSPCC Competition).
