This listing is for our BFM studs with 8 ARP washers and 8 ARP nuts included.  These blower studs are designed to actually work! We had been running "normal" solid ARP blower studs. When we banged the blower we had 90 pounds on the blower gauge and broke a rotor but never broke a stud! Unless you are running Nitro you may as well us a steel bolt because the "normal" studs out there are not going to protect your blower from a back fire. These custom made CNC machined 6061 aluminum studs are designed with a .300" "break away" zone. It will give your blower a fighting chance for survival!!! These are not the cheap "short" crap studs others are selling! We designed in additional length to work with modern blowers. Total length is 2.840" "usable" length thread to thread is 2.55". Ever strip out the "Allen" hole on the end of your aluminum stud? Me too! What a pain in the #?$% These studs have a steel set screw threaded into the end (with Lock Tight) so this will never happen again. Upgrade to a better stud today! Sold as a set of 8 studs. Thank You for looking and please see my other listings!  Bill

Volvo testing new safety features

Tue, 10 Jul 2012

Volvo outlined three new technologies that it says will help make the Volvos of the future a good deal safer: autonomous driving, “Intersection Support” and animal detection. Volvo says it's tailoring technologies to the way people drive, by which it means poorly. The company claims that “surveys from three different research institutes in the United States reveal that modern drivers spend 25 to 30 percent of their time behind the wheel doing other things, such as focusing on mobile communication.” Volvo's new technologies are said take this into account and “provide the driver with the right support at all times.” By using a camera and radar, future Volvos will be able to follow the car in front while driving in slow traffic using an autonomous-driving function.

Bentley Continental GT3-R with 572 bhp V8 revealed

Tue, 17 Jun 2014

The Bentley Continental GT3-R arrives with a 572 bhp V8 As we reported last week, it looks like Bentley has decided to do a V8 take on the original Continental Supersports with the arrival of the Bentley Continental GT3-R, a lighter, more powerful Continental V8. Just like the original Continental Supersports, the Continental GT3-R loses its back seats and goes on a diet (down 100 kg on the V8S) and gets a retuned version of the 4.0 litre twin-turbo V8 producing 572 bhp and 516 lb/ft of torque together with shorter gearing to deliver a 0-60 mph in just 3.6 seconds (0-62mph in 3.8s). The GT3-R still comes with Bentley’s four wheel drive, but it gets torque vectoring too and a modified ESC and a chassis tuned for outright cornering ability to make the GT3-R Bentley’s most dynamic road car to date.
