This is for a threaded shifter. Our knobs are made with a threaded metal insert in them, no plastic threads. YOU MUST EMAIL US WITH THE THREAD SIZE YOU NEED, OR YR. MAKE, MODEL , TRANSMISSION and SHIFTER TYPE OR BRAND.. We will not ship until we know. We want it to fit your shifter and will help all we can. We have options for non-threaded and column shifters, too! Thread size options for all knobs listed here are: 5/16-18, 3/8-16, 3/8-24, 7/16-20, 1/2-13, 1/2-20, 8mm-1.25, 10mm-1.25, 10mm-1.50, 12mm-1.25, 12mm-1.50, 12mm-1.75 or 16mm-1.50. Other sizes, including 9/16 may be special ordered. All will include a jam nut.

Due to manufacturing and color techniques, multi-color knobs, other than solid colors, and those with color effects will vary slightly, no two knobs exactly alike. Photos shows basic colors and effects, may not be the actual knob shipped due to variances. Photos of actual current available knobs are available. All colors are created in the knob, not painted. Will never wear off.

*Installation Note: Never bottom out the shift knob on the shifter when tightening. Only tighten against the jam nut. Bottoming out may break the knob!

On Jan. 3, 1899, the New York Times printed the word "automobile" upon its austere pages. It wasn't the first publication to do so; Scientific American used the phrase "automobile carriage" in a May 14, 1898, review of the Winton Motor Carriage, but the Grey Lady -- a more influential publication -- was the first to debate the term.
