Blue Ox Bx2604 Base Plate Towing 2011 Ford Flex 2009 Flex on 2040-parts.com
Middle of Country, US
Selling on Ebay Since 1999
Genuine Blue Ox baseplates are engineered to be shock absorbing and integrated into the individual bumper frame or unibody. Designed to let the baseplate torsion or flex, similar to a receiver hitch, so it absorbs the forces of towing rather than rigidly transferring the forces to the frame of the towed vehicle. Positioned for proper and secure attachment to the frame and for easy access to hook up the tow bar. Many models have removable tabs so the vehicle's appearance is not affected. Order by year, make and model. Easy installation with the hardware and easy to read instructions included. Tow bar attaches easily with two pins. Lifetime warranty. Adapters available to accommodate most other brands of tow bars to the Blue Ox base plate.
Fits:
2009 Flex
2011 Ford Flex (No Ecoboost)

Next Volvo infotainment system will look like an iPhone
Mon, 10 Mar 2014After more than a decade of disparate and clunky systems that have tried to force their ways of doing things upon our already-overloaded brains, it appears that smartphones and cars are finally going to be friends, after all. And by that, we don't mean that it's suddenly OK to text and drive. Rather, the infotainment systems in cars are finally going to have operating systems that mirror those of smartphones as they interact with your own phone.
Aston Martin Vanquish Volante revealed at Pebble Beach
Sat, 17 Aug 2013Aston Martin Vanquish Volante revealed at Pebble Beach (Photo credit: Kimball Studios, courtesy Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance) 2013 is a big year for Aston Martin – its 100th Anniversary – so Aston Martin at Pebble Beach this year is more than worth a look as Aston seeks to make a suitavly impressive spectacle at North America’s most prestigious car weekend. Top of the list of goodies – perhaps – for Pebble is the reveal this weekend of the convertible version of the new Vanquish – theĀ Aston Martin Vanquish Volante – which gets a world public debut in front of the appreciative, and knowledgeable, crowd at Pebble. They’ll appreciate how clever Aston has been with the new Vanquish Volante which, despite using technology that’s really now past its sell-by date, they’ve managed to produce a convertible that’s incredibly stiff (certainly in comparison to the DBS Volante), beautiful to look at and performs as well as the Coupe.
Cadillac XTS 'choreographed' LED lighting explained [w/video]
Tue, 28 Feb 2012The introduction of LED lighting into vehicle lamp graphics has seen manufacturers strive to create their own identifiable lighting signatures. Cadillac, for example, is looking to take this one step further with the introduction of LEDs throughout the XTS, rather than just within its light clusters. Designed to greet drivers through a choreographed sequence, 20 separate light sources begin their routine once the key fob is pressed.
