Blue Ox Patriot Brake System on 2040-parts.com
Venice, California, United States
Greetings
My Uncle passed recently, and I bought him this brake system for his RV back in January. When I was cleaning out his garage, I found it unopened, unused, brand new. I originally paid near $1000 for it, and it has never been unboxed. I could use the money to help with some of the bills. It is a sealed new item. Thank you. Sarah Details below: The Blue Ox Patriot® Braking System is a fully proportional portable brake system for your tow vehicle. This system applies the brakes smoothly while you’re slowing down to a stop, instead of suddenly jolting your tow vehicle causing costly damage to your brakes. True Proportional BrakingThe Patriot Brake works by utilizing a series of accelerometers that can instantaneously sense braking action from your coach and tell the brake to activate. It is "proportional" because these accelerometers can also determine how hard you are braking in the coach and the Patriot will apply your brakes accordingly. This means that if you are soft on your brakes in your RV, so is the Patriot brake, but if you need to stop quickly the Patriot brake will fully apply the brake in your towed car. This is why proportional braking is preferred by our experts and it's important to note that many brakes on the market are not proportional systems.
Break-away System Comes StandardThe Patriot Brake is also fully equipped with a break away system right out of the box. A Break Away system is perhaps the most important safety feature in RV towing. The Patriot Break Away system immediately alerts the brake that the car has separated from the RV while moving. The Patriot immediately applies the brakes if this occurs. Separations are uncommon, but rest assured this break away system will make sure your towed car does not continue to roll. This is why the Patriot Brake will keep you in compliance with all braking laws in the US and Canada.
Portability has ValueThe Patriot brake is very easy to take from one car to another. If you are planning on towing a different car in the next few years the Patriot Brake is the choice for you. Many other brakes on the market essentially can not be moved from one car to another. This normally means you are out of pocket for another braking system. Don't let that happen to you!
Wireless MonitoringThe Patriot Brake has no wires between the coach and the brake. You will have a monitoring system up in the coach with you, but it is completely wireless. It really couldn't get any easier! Fast and Easy InstallMany
other brakes on the market can take up to 5 hours to install. Not only
are these installs lengthy, but they can be quite complex. None of
this is true for the Patriot Brake, anyone can install it in 30 minutes
and you are ready for the road. |

Here's the former Ukrainian president's car collection
Mon, 24 Feb 2014Just a couple days ago, the world media and some bewildered journalists got a glimpse of now-departed Ukrainian president Viktor Yanukovych's villa on the Dnieper river, called Mezhyhirya. The sprawling and not-particularly-tasteful residence rests on a 345-acre lot of real estate (a little over half the size of Monaco) and features a golf course, a zoo, and an artificial lake with a ship resembling something out of Disney's "Pirates of the Caribbean" theme park ride. And it also boasts an impressive collection of about 70 cars and motorcycles.
