COPPER SHIELD outperformed Interlux Micron CSC, Fiberglass Bottomkote ACT, Bottomkote, Pettit Ultima SSA, West Marine CPP, Sea Hawk AF-33, Cukote Copper Shield is a high performance multi-season ablative with multi-season protection against hard and soft growth in moderate fouling conditions and re-launch after extended haul-out while retaining original antifouling properties. You will experience ablative polishing like a bar of soap, without the paint build-up and apply directly over any properly sanded hard or ablative bottom paint or epoxy primer. Copper Shield provides antifouling protection against barnacles, algae and hydroids in salt and fresh water on boat bottoms only. Its ablative copolymer base renders a smooth finish with durability and abrasion resistance. Copper Shield releases biocide by the constant exposure of new paint film to the water.
