We have a used set of BME Coated GAS Ported Flatop SB2 Chevy Pistons and Wrist Pins for close to a 4.138" Bore with close to a 1.360" Compression Height and come with .927" Pins.  This set comes with 2 brand new pistons too that match!!!!!!!!!!! I measured these with a cheap digital caliper and it could be off a few thousandths so bid accordingly. Most of the rings are in the box. I do not know the rod and stroke combination. The pistons weigh 475 grams. These are used old stock from a multi-Championship NASCAR team. As with all used items, it may have dings, dents, scratches and other flaws. Look at the pictures and you decide. We will combine shipping on these too based on total weight and size of the box or boxes. Ask for combined invoice AFTER you are done buying for the day. Do not pay individually. There is a place to request your total from seller AFTER you are done buying. Local pickup in Monmouth, Illinois is always free, no phony pickup fees like some other ebay sellers.

7 performance cars for less than $30,000 part two: Honda Civic Si vs. Volkswagen GTI

Tue, 12 Jun 2012

It's hard to fathom, but it's been more than a decade since the peak of the sport-compact craze saw modified Honda Civics cluttering the streets. Enthusiasts salivated over a Type R that wasn't (and still isn't) available on our shores, instead having to settle for the Si. Fast-forward to today and the debut of the ninth-generation Civic for the 2012 model year brings a new Si.

2010 BMW X6 M: Fast and fun--whatever the heck it is

Wed, 12 Aug 2009

Barreling around the racetrack, there's little lean entering the corners, plenty of thrust on exit and a monster amount of grip everywhere, and if it feels taxed at all, it's ever so briefly as the nose aims left and up from turn five for the steep climb out of the esses. Road Atlanta is plain ol' fast, and the BMW X6 M does well to keep pace, spilling gobs of power all over the track, blazing down the long back straight to nearly 140 mph, maneuvering like no two-and-half-ton pile of metal should. It's exhilarating stuff, to be sure, only we're left asking very many questions, and all of them are: Why?
