Geneva Motor Show 2012 With the 2012 Geneva Motor Show now upon us, we take a look at what you can expect to find at the biggest Motor Show – in the world. The Geneva Motor Show is the closest thing most European car makers get to a proper home show these days, so it’s always going to be a show full of big name reveals, lots of new cars and more than a handful of barking mad concepts. Victor Muller takes Saab in to Court Protection Two weeks ago we reported that Saab were about to seek court protection from its creditors in a bid to buy time until investment from China arrives. And that’s exactly what’s happening. Saab are waiting for investment funding from China – via Pang Da and Youngman – totalling €245 million which should put Saab back on a solvent footing – at least for a while – and allow the beleaguered Swedish car maker to resume production and push on with future plans.

And now we get the same treatment for the new Sorento’s interior. Frankly, the exterior design sketches were nothing more than a tease of what’s on offer – and doubtless far more dramatic than the real 2015 Sorento will be – and the teaser sketches of the interior are even less revealing of what will be on offer.
