All remanufactured units (100%) go through the same inspection process and must meet the same specifications as a new steering rack. This means the same quality and safety with a ZF remanufactured unit as with a new steering rack.
  • OE quality and direct fit replacement
  • Remanufacture based on highest quality standards
  • Exclusive use of genuine ZF spare parts during remanufacture
  • Same quality as with new parts and no change in the familiar feel of steering.
  • ZF steering gears are supplied to all leading vehicle makers in Europe
  • Highest degree of safety
Remanufacturing Process
  • When used components are returned they are sorted, washed, and then subjected to a first inspection.
  • The individual parts and working surfaces are examined and, if possible, reworked.
  • The parts are then washed once again in a special washing machine built for that purpose.
  • Specially produced tools and fixtures are used for assembly.
  • All seals and plastic parts are replaced; new parts are included in the process where necessary.
  • All remanufactured components are subjected to a full-scale final inspection in compliance with OEM specifications.
Installation Notes: Steering system must be completely flushed before installing a new steering rack. Please refer to the vehicles steering fluid requirements (usually located in the engine compartment) before flushing or replacing the power steering fluid. Using incorrect fluid type can damage the entire system and void any warranty.
