Saratoga, California, United States
Condition:New

This is a BMW 2002 fire extinguisher bracket up for sale. The aluminum bracket bolts to the same nuts that the front seat slide rails use. It can be mounted under the driver seat or the passenger seat. The bracket uses two stainless steel quick release 3-1/4" diameter clamps to secure the fire extinguisher. Please note that this bracket is for early 2002s where the front of the seat rails mount vertically to the seat bracket nuts (as seen in the third picture). Also note that there is a cutout on the bracket to avoid interference with the outer slide rail. The pictures show the fire extinguisher under BMW e21 Recaro seats and has no problems. Please ask if your car and seats will work with this fire extinguisher bracket if you can't determine by the pictures.

Included is the bracket, straps, and all mounting hardware. The fire extinguisher (Kidde BC Model FA5B 3-1/4" diameter) is NOT included and is only shown for reference.

The Playboy MX-5 Cup is the best racing no one's watching, says Mazda, because it's not on television. The company changed that on Wednesday by inking a deal with the Discovery Velocity channel. Deep cable jokes aside, the MX-5 Cup does present some of the best parity in racing, as well as drivers racing for the love of the sport.

Tiff Needell compares the 911 and F-Type

Fri, 19 Apr 2013

It was a mere matter of time before somebody pitted the new Jaguar F-Type against a flat-six-powered automobile from Stuttgart. And while our natural inclination would've been to choose the mid-engined, two-seat Boxster S to mash heads with the 380-horse V6 S model, the lads at Evo had Tiff Needell compare the new Jag to a 911 Carrera Cabriolet. The heavier Neunelfer is a closer power/weight match to the F-Type.
