BMW 215K Differential Rebuild Kit for 135i, 235i, 335i, 435i, M3, M5 215 Kompakt ball bearing differentials.
Beware of cheaper counterfeit bearings. I have rebuilt diffs which have lasted only 2-3 months when knock-off bearings have been used. My bearings are guaranteed to be genuine. Only use the real deal when rebuilding your BMW differential. If they are cheap, they are fake. Genuine FAG (made in Germany) and genuine Koyo (Made in Japan) ball bearings are expensive. My genuine bearings are usually in stock for express delivery to Australian most metro areas. This is a 13 piece differential rebuild kit to suit the above vehicles with the small-sized 215K ball bearing diff. These diffs have a 4 bolt input flange or spline input. It contains all bearings, 3x seals, 2 ball bearings, 2 taper bearings, 4 races, crush washer and lock plate. These differentials often suffer noise, differential failure and bearing failure. Now it's possible to fix your noisy 168L/LW sized diff. This is a much better option versus a used differential which may not last, and is often cheaper too. Diff Lab rebuilds these diffs in-house and offers these diffs on exchange. This is the most complete kit available anywhere in the world, and it is the cheapest. Installation is not a DIY job for beginners. I assemble fully blueprinted differentials on exchange with all new components. Diffs for most vehicles are in stock. Fears grow over more London congestion
Thu, 14 Aug 2014MOST LONDONERS reckon congestion is going to worsen in their city over the next five years. But they are heavily divided on the best way of beating the jams, according to a YouGov survey for business group London First. As many as 40% of the 1,055 adults polled said congestion would increase a lot, while 38% believed it would increase a little.
Electric car world speed record – 307mph
Sat, 28 Aug 2010The team from OSU celebrate their Electric Car World Speed Record Perhaps we should change our minds. We’ve always made it clear that we believe the only sensible use for an electric car – certainly a BEV (battery electric vehicle) – is as a city car. There it makes sense with its zero emissions at the point of use, and the limited range available – from anything remotely resembling a sensible-sized battery pack – is not a problem.
Fiat launches new MultiAir engines
Mon, 09 Mar 2009By Tim Pollard Motor Industry 09 March 2009 14:02 Fiat showed off the detail of its new MultiAir engines at the 2009 Geneva motor show – and we’ll finally be able to buy the tech on the new Alfa Romeo Mito supermini later in 2009. The brains behind the common-rail injection system that shook up diesel technology have now produced a new technology designed to make petrol engines more efficient and cleaner. Engineers claim the MultiAir engines – which use electrohydraulic actuation, rather than the more widely available electromechanical systems – boost power and torque, while cutting CO2 by between 10% and 25% and other pollutants by up to 60%.
