G-Wiz maker Reva announce new electric cars

The first is the Reva NXR, which is a three-door, four seat family hatchback scheduled to launch in 2010. But we certainly understand the imperative for car makers to build cars which produce less CO2 (a highly dubious requirement) and use far less fuel (a very solid requirement). Sensibly, Nissan Renault, under Carlos Ghosn, aren’t putting all their eggs in one basket in the quest to make their cars cleaner, greener and more economical.
UK Car Sales down 272,000 in 2008
Wed, 07 Jan 2009Well, we knew the car industry was in trouble, and that in the last quarter of 2008 car sales fell off a cliff. But it has now been confirmed that overall sales for the UK in 2008 fell by 272,212 units, or 11.3%. December figures alone showed a drop of 21.2% year on year.
