Volkswagon Jetta: Faulty sensor prompts VW recall

A faulty temperature sensor in the dual-clutch transmission is prompting Volkswagen to recall about 13,500 cars in the United States. The recall covers 2009 and some 2010 models of the Jetta, the GTI and the Eos. If the sensor fails, VW said owners will see warning lights on the dashboard and the transmission my shift into neutral.

The 2014 Audi SQ5 high-performance SUV will cost $51,900 when it hits showrooms later this summer. The target production is 60,000 annually to be used in a range of Nissan and Renault electric cars that will start to hit the market next year (2010) – in the US and Japan – with full global roll-out by 2010.
