BMW Cleveland is pleased to announce a Snap In adapter for the Blackberry Pearl. The Adapter is for vehicles equipped with the BMW Assist system with Bluetooth wireless technology. The system provides a safe and secure place to dock your Blackberry Pearl while driving and will charge your phone battery when the vehicle is running. The adapter also provides a connection to the roof mounted telephone antenna on your car for improved cellular reception. The Snap-In adapter must be used in conjunction with the Vehicle base plate or “Eject Box” which is installed in the center console. This part provides the mounting point and electrical connections for the phone Snap In adapter.

But now the Range Rover Sport SVR has been officially revealed. Conceived and developed by Jaguar Land Rover’s new Special Operations Division, the Sport SVR has been honed at the Nurburgring (which won’t please James May) to take on monster on-road SUVs like the Porsche Cayenne Turbo and yet still offer most of the Land Rover off-road magic.

The SEAT Leon Cupra (pictured above) launches at Barcelona in May, together with the Ibiza FR The Cupra is the top of the hot tree in the SEAT world, and so the new SEAT Leon Cupra will sit ahead of the Leon FR. With 240bhp and a 0-60 of around 6.4 seconds this is a quick car. The Cupra gets a set of 18″ alloy wheels, lower suspension, a different grill and door mirrors and a chromed tailpipe.

Chrysler moves design boss Ralph Gilles to lead new SRT brand

Chrysler Group on Tuesday shuffled the heads of its vehicle brands, placing design chief Ralph Gilles in charge of the newly created Street and Racing Technology (SRT) brand while handing his duties as head of the Dodge brand to Reid Bigland. The move is a way of getting all of the automaker's SRT efforts together under one leader, spokeswoman Shawn Morgan said. Gilles, 41, will still be in charge of Chrysler's motorsports activities and the design for Chrysler, Dodge, Ram and Jeep vehicles.
