Williams & Renault back together in F1

Tue, 05 Jul 2011

Williams Renault F1 - Sir Frank Williams and Renaultsport's Bernard Rey For those of us who enjoy F1 (on the whole – although races like Canada rather than Valencia, it as to be said) but are very slightly past the first flush of youth, it’s rather sad to see Williams languishing in the ranks of also-rans on this year’s grid. Audi is set to give its A2 concept a public debut alongside its Urban concept at this year's Frankfurt motor show in the manufacturer's latest exploration of electric mobility. The A2 concept study revolves around the concept of space, with the vehicle having been developed with plenty of room for four people even with the car being 3800mm long, 1690mm wide and 1490mm high. The car is very much designed to impress aesthetically as well as improving the company's green credentials.

Rinspeed's show car uses a small engine in a lightweight 750kg structure for astonishing performance.
