* Details about the c_change™ body-climate membrane:
- This material has been used successfully in the ComfortShell suit since 2007.
−
Adaptation to changes in temperature and varying activities: c_change™
takes a leaf from Mother Nature's own book: pine cones for example open
in warm weather and close up again in the cold. As soon as a high
ambient temperature or body heat produces more moisture, the membrane
structure opens and allows excess heat and vapor to escape. As soon as
the body produces less heat energy and so less moisture, the membrane
structure pulls closed again. Body heat is retained and the membrane
helps protect against chills and shivers.
− Durably waterproof and windproof.
− Highly breathable: c_change™ adapts its permeability to water vapor to maintain an optimum match to prevailing conditions.
− Stretchable: The elasticity of the material makes it very comfortable to wear.
- Jacket and pant inserts zip into the outer garments. There are the usual loops and stud fasteners at the wrists and ankles.
c-change™ offers the following improvements:
- Membrane structure adapts to changing ambient temperatures, so breathability adapts "as needed".
- Improved wear comfort because of the stretchability of c_change™ (predecessor version was not stretchable).
- More pleasant to the touch (feels softer).
- Highly breathable.
- Extremely waterproof and windproof.
- Easy to zip into the suit and easily removed.

Alfa at the Paris motor show 2008
Thu, 02 Oct 2008By Ben Barry Motor Shows 02 October 2008 20:29 It’s all quiet at Alfa, but that doesn’t mean there’s nothing to look at. The girls are of an even higher standard than those over the road at Fiat, while the 8C Spider – standing proud in pearl white amid a sea of red – and the recently revised 159 look stunning. We’ve seen the updated saloon and sportwagon a while back, but seeing it in the metal under the spotlights just reinforces how breathtakingly handsome it is.

Toyota files for 'Supra' trademark
Mon, 17 Feb 2014Adding more grist to the new-Toyota-sports-car mill, the automaker has filed with the USPTO for a “Supra” trademark covering “Automobiles and structural parts thereof.” On one hand, it's routine for companies to protect their dormant trademarks; Toyota previously filed to protect the "Supra" mark back in 2010; that protection expired on January 27th of this year. The new filing was made on Feburary 10th, in the midst of the post-Detroit, FT-1 enthusiast froth. We can't help but hold out hope that there's a bit more weight behind this application than simple maintenance of the status quo.
