Autoweek, Hagerty preview Barrett-Jackson

Barrett-Jackson isn’t just about American muscle cars. In the video above, our own associate editor and newly minted K-car owner, Graham “Kozy” Kozak joins with Hagerty’s classic-car experts, Dave Kinney and Rob Sass, to check out a selection of cars that will soon be under the bright lights of the Barrett-Jackson auction block. Alfa Romeo 4C hits the track (video)

The Alfa Romeo 4C (pictured) out on track – on video The Alfa Romeo 4C has been on its way for longer than it should have been. But Alfa Romeo finally got round to revealing the 4C in prodiction spec at the Geneva Motor Show in March, and visitors to this year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed later this month will get to see the 4C strutting its stuff up the hillclimb. But ahead of that dynamic debut, Alfa has released new video of the 4C out playing on the Balocco Racetrack in Italy, with a few wailing exhausts notes but far to much dramatic music as a soundtrack.

Touring Superleggera Disco Volante and Ralph Lauren Bugatti win at Villa d'Este

The Touring Superleggera Disco Volante was the surprise winner of the Design Award for Concept Cars and Prototypes at 2013 Concorso d'Eleganza Villa d'Este. It beat the likes of the BMW Pininfarina Gran Lusso Coupe, Aston Martin CC100, Infiniti Emerg-E and McLaren P1, although it should be said that BMW, as a major sponsor of the event, dosn't enter its cars into the vote. The Alfa Romeo-based sports car once again proved that if it's red Italian and with a Milanese connection, it's a dead cert for winning the prize, voted for by both the judges and the general public.
