Used E36 18 Button OBC for sale. Pulled from a 1997 M3 and worked fine. Some light bulbs may be burned out or dead, sometimes the filaments break in shipping. The actual display works fine. No guarantee on the bulbs, but they're cheap if they're not working. If you have problems with it I will honor a return minus shipping. I know it worked perfectly in my vehicle. New Jaguar XFR-S burns up the Goodwood hillclimb (video)
Sat, 23 Mar 2013The new Jaguar XFR-S – the most powerful XF to date – has just launched and we have video of the XFR-S on the Goodwood Hillclimb. With an even more aggressive look than the XFR, the XFR-S gets 542bhp and 502lb/ft of torque, enough to move Jaguar’s appealing super saloon to 62mph in just 4.4 seconds. Until now all we’ve had are the XFR-S photos Jaguar delivered (together with a dynamic video too), but with this week seeing Goodwood starting the push for this year’s Festival of Speed with a press day, we have the XFR-S out playing on the hillclimb, and Shmee 150 managed to capture Jaguar’s new cat playing.
Volkswagen launches Car-Net in-car assistance system
Tue, 30 Jul 2013Volkswagen has launched an in-car assistance system which will offer a number of convenience and diagnostic features. Not too dissimilar from some other systems already on the market -- such as BMW Assist, Mercedes-Benz'sMbrace, and GM's On-Star -- VW's system will offer roadside assistance, service appointment scheduling, and automatic crash notification. The latter triggers a call from the vehicle to a Car-Net customer specialist when the airbags in the car are deployed, which will then connect the occupants with a local public safety answering point, which can send emergency vehicles to the scene if needed.
Ford and Toyota to work together on rear-drive hybrid for trucks
