Detail Description
Replacement Window for BMW E36 Convertibles. This is a new BMW window built by me from all new components. An E36 window is a zip-in window with black canvas trim on the outside that you tuck your top into. I have made thousands of BMW Convertible windows. The E36 window fits all BMW 3-series convertibles (318, 320, 323, 325, 328 and M3) from 1994-1999. (Not for Z3). This window is MADE IN THE USA.

The plastic that I use is DOT approved, higher quality and longer lasting than OEM BMW plastic. The OEM plastic can be scratched with your fingernail. This plastic won't easily be scratched with your fingernail and is more flexible, meaning that it should be more resistant to cracking.

This window lists for $301 from BMW.

A lot of people ask if they can do replace the window themselves. The old window unzips and the new window zips in. I supply the zipper slider necessary to do the operation (zipping and unzipping), and the glue to seal the window. You will need an assistant, and it should take 1-2 hours. It has been done in as little as 15 minutes.

Shipping will be $13 in the US, $22 to Canada, and $31 Worldwide. Paypal also Accepted.

I now have a darker tinted plastic available for $9 more. The optional, darker, tinted plastic may or may not be DOT approved where you are. If you are looking for a "Limo Tint" this is NOT it.

Also fits M3 (not the M-Roadster)

Button wins for Brawn GP in Malaysia

Sun, 05 Apr 2009

Jenson Button triumphs for Brawn GP in Malaysia in the pouring rain. [ad#ad-1] After last weeks fairy-tale start to racing for Brawn GP at Melbourne, it was hard to believe that, despite seemingly being the best car on the grid,  Jenson Button could repeat his performance in Malaysia. But he has, and Brawn become the first team to get two wins on the trot in their first season since Alfa Romeo in 1950.

Lamborghini 50th Anniversary Grand Tour

Mon, 08 Oct 2012

2013 is the 50th anniversary of the creation of Lamborghini by Ferruccio Lamborghini and is being celebrated by the Lamborghini 50th Anniversary Grand Tour. Ferruccio Lamborghini may just have been a tractor builder in the eyes of Enzo Ferrari, but 50 years on from the point where Ferruccio Lamborghini started to make the cars he wanted to drive – because Ferrari didn’t – Lamborghini can be thought of as Ferrari’s equal – if historically a slightly more barking one. To celebrate the 50th anniversary of Lamborghini’s first car, Lamborghini are organising events around the world in 2013 to celebrate all things Sant’Agata, culminating in the Lamborghini 50th Anniversary Grand Tour on 7th – 11th May 2013.

Ford, GM work together on new nine-, 10-speed transmissions

Mon, 15 Apr 2013

Ford Motor Co. and General Motors are developing nine- and 10-speed transmissions jointly for use in cars, crossovers, pickups and SUVs. The rivals say partnering on the automatic front- and rear-wheel-drive gearboxes will get them to market faster and cheaper than each automaker could do on its own.
