Ford Focus Sport: the run-out Ford Focus

Mon, 04 Oct 2010

The Ford Focus Sport - current Focus run-out model You can’t have failed to notice that the Ford Focus is about to be replaced. We’ve been running stories on the 2011 Ford Focus since before it was revealed at the Detroit Motor Show at the start of this year. And the 2011 Focus is almost here, with customer production starting in January 2011.

New 2013 Nissan Note gets more appealing

Mon, 18 Feb 2013

The new Nissan Note has turned in to a Ford Fiesta basher as Nissan turn the Note from a boring little MPV in to a convincing small hatch. We did think the Invitation would be watered down to produce a slightly titivated new Note for production, but much of the style has found its way through in to the new Note – which we first saw in the JDM Nissan Note last summer – and the Note now looks set to take on proper compact hatches like the Ford Fiesta. The nose of the new Note is now more convincing – with new headlights and grill – and the doors get a great big feature crease that looks like a giant smoothing iron has stamped its mark, although Nissan say it’s a ‘Squash Line’  whose ‘angles were inspired by the flight of a fast moving squash ball travelling around a court’.

Audi RS6 saloon (2008): first pictures

Tue, 12 Aug 2008

By Ben Whitworth First Official Pictures 12 August 2008 00:01 Following on from the RS6 Avant launched at the start of the 2008, Audi has revealed the saloon version of its hottest A6. And it’s hot! Like the estate, the four-door RS6 is powered by a twin-turbo 5.0-litre V10 with outputs to shame the CLS63 AMG and M5… With direct injection and dry-sump lubrication – always handy if you plan to knock off a few laps of the Nürburgring on the way home from work – the blown V10 whips up a supercar-rivalling 572bhp at 6250rpm and a mighty 479lb ft that kicks in at just 1500rpm.
