Jaguar C-X75 Hybrid Supercar back in the spotlight
Tue, 25 Jun 2013Jaguar release new photos of the C-X75 Supercar A few days ago we heard that the hybrid underpinnings of the canned Jaguar C-X75 were going to find their way in to the F-Type to produce a 700bhp monster. We had our doubts about that, but it does seem clear that Jaguar are not going to let the C-X75 just disappear in to oblivion. For reasons probably known only to Jaguar, they’ve suddenly decided to release a new set of photos (above) of the very good looking C-X75 in a fetching shade of blue – a better look than the pale metallic paint job on all the photos we’ve seen so far – despite the project being shelved.
UK motorway to charge moving electric cars

On Bing: see pictures of wireless electric car charging Find out how much a used electric car costs on Auto Trader The concept, already used by some mobile phones and currently being trialled for static charging of electric cars, uses electromagnetic fields to pass current to batteries without the use of cables or wires.
Volkswagen E-Bugster
Tue, 24 Jan 2012The Volkswagen E-Bugster concept is a show car preview of the upcoming Beetle cabriolet. The E-Bugster is essentially the same Beetle that debuted at the Shanghai Auto Show last year below its beltline but above it a more steeply raked and shallower windscreen determine its new character. This, in combination with the hard top fitted to the show car creates a silhouette 400mm lower than the standard car, giving it a hint of SoCal speedster.
