BMW E60 5 SERIES SPORT MODE UNLOCK BUTTON

this is a cable i make, that allows you to unlock the hidden sport feature on the e60 5 series BMW. by popular request, i started selling these cables after a large amount of feedback from my Youtube video showing the installation of this cable. this cable has been installed on many pre-lci 04-07 BMW e60 with very good feedback from those who purchased from me. Im not sure on the effect on LCI e60s (08+). this is a very simple cable, I use OEM type connectors and cable is about 2.5ft in length. results may vary, so i cannot guarantee you will get the same results as i did in my video. which is why i make this cable so inexpensive to buy, gives the buyer a cheap way to test the hidden power on their vehicle. so please keep that in mind before purchasing. this cable is not guaranteed to show same results..but as you can see from the YouTube comments, many have been happy with their cable.

this cable is 100% plug and play, will require no coding. i have a Youtube video up showing full details on how to install. SPORT mode will show up in cluster.

please allow a day for order processing, as i make this cable by the order. please feel free to message me with any questions

BMW Concept5 X5 eDrive revealed. It’s a plug-in Hybrid X5

Thu, 22 Aug 2013

The BMW Concept5 X5 eDrive (pictured) will debut at Frankfurt The arrival of the BMW Concept X5 eDrive ahead of its debut at Frankfurt next month doesn’t preview and immediate addition to the X5 range of a plug-in hybrid, but it does show what will be on offer in a year or two. Just like yesterday’s Mercedes S500 plug-in hybrid, the X5 eDrive is another example of how car makers have developed their way round CO2 taxation levels by throwing electric motors at ICE engines to create a car that offers impressive emissions and economy on official tests. In the case of the X5 eDrive that means a four-cylinder twin power ICE engine (BMW aren’t saying, but we’re assuming its a petrol engine), a 94bhp electric motor and a lithium-ion battery under the boot all working together to produce an X5 that is capable (at least in official tests, which is all that matters) of 74.3mpg and emissions under 90g/km.

Driven: a week with a Chevrolet Volt

Mon, 22 Aug 2011

In Fall 2010, before the Volt went on sale in North America, we sampled an early build model and came away so impressed, we declared it the car for the digital age. Since then the car has received harsh criticism from the press and been outsold by the Nissan Leaf in the North American market. Given the unique powertrain, we felt longer exposure to the Volt was therefore in order, so on a recent trip to Michigan, we lived with one for five days.
