 BMW 188 Gear Set for E70 X5 4.8i - 3.91:1
This is a 188 ball bearing (Dana style) gear set to suit the above vehicles with the mid-sized 8-bolt diff. These diffs are extremely hard to find. Finally you can buy a ring and pinion to repair these diffs. They are manufactured in Australia. Bearings, crush washer, lock plate, nut, shim etc are not included. These items are available in my 188L/LW rebuild kit which is listed in the Diff Lab store. You generally require a shim kit to install new gears and bearings.
