It's aptly called the KTM Race, and the official pictures show this exciting model in all its madcap glory. Dallara branches out from track to road with new 2017 sports car plan

In the new September 2014 issue on sale today, Gian Paolo Dallara, the firm's founder, confirms a back-to-basics eponymous sports car due to arrive by 2017. The Dallara road car will be extremely focused: target weight stands at just 850kg, enabled by the use of carbonfibre, just like on the Alfa Romeo 4C that Dallara helped to develop.
