Gumpert are teasing two new cars for Geneva 2012 Gumpert has revealed they are heading to the 2012 Geneva Motor Show with two debuts. One should be a production version of the Gumpert Tornante. Back in November we reported that Gumpert were teasing a new car debut for the 2012 Geneva Motor Show, which we concluded (or hoped) would be a production version of the  Gumpert Tornante by TOURING we saw at the Geneva show in 2011.

Pagani teases new C9 V12 supercar

Pagani has just released a second teaser video that previews its new supercar; currently known by the internal codename C9, the latest rumour doing the rounds is that Pagani has registered the name Huayra for its Zonda successor. Pagani will unveil the new C9/Huayra at the Geneva motor show in March 2011 – it’s powered by a twin-turbo, AMG-developed V12 engine. Aston Martin drops Cygnet city car

Autocar is reporting that the diminutive Aston Martin Cygnet has been dropped from the company’s portfolio. The automaker, now owned by Prodrive and private equity firm Invenstindustrial, will focus on its “core product range,” also known as “good cars.” Autocar posits that the justification for the Cygnet was to continue producing V8 and V12 cars, while keeping its average CO2 emissions down. The Cygnet shared bones with the Toyota iQ city car and used a 97-hp, 1.3-liter engine and got 58.9 mpg using the U.S.
