It's the Spanish firm's short-cut family car, a renosed last-gen A4 that will serve up a Seat challenger to the Mondeo, Insignia, Laguna et al. The Exeo arrives in UK showrooms in the first half of 2009.

BMW staged the U.S. launch of the sixth generation of the stalwart 3-series at the Detroit auto show this week, which makes this as good a time as any to take a look back at the car that other sports sedans aspire to be. TVR founder Trevor Wilkinson dies

He was the driving force behind the Blackpool performance car brand, which bore his name and went on to become famous for producing cars with outrageous looks and power. He was seriously ill in his retirement in Menorca, according to reports.
