moto-heaven.com Pro Rider - Patrick Stephens

These are HH, or Double H, performance oriented brake pads.  The HH designation means that they offer a very high coeficient of friction. They are also referred to 'sintered metal' type pads because of the high metallic makeup of the materials used. Most modern sportbikes come standard with sintered metal pads.

Why use the HH pads vs. the standard organic or Kevlar impregnated pads ?

-Under normal use will run cooler and cause less rotor disscoloration and warping.

-More precise and accurate feel and control.

-More braking force when you need it.

-Less effort on the lever/pedal.

-Longer lasting.

Crozier-Roberson Motorsports Ducati 848 - rider and moto-heaven.com owner - Phil Caudill - 2009 Daytona 8 hour.

(We do carry the standard type pads and also EPFA pads for roadracing applications and those demanding the most extreme breaking.)

The pads in this listing will fit the following brands and models-

BMW

2010 2011 2012 S1000RR

Jetstream SC250 (2008): first pictures

Tue, 26 Aug 2008

By Ben Whitworth First Official Pictures 26 August 2008 09:32 This is the new Jetstream SC250, a Cornwall-based newcomer to Britain’s low-volume sportscar industry – and arguably the most eye-wateringly ugly car we’ve seen in a very long time. The lightweight two-seater is powered by Vauxhall’s turbo 2.0-litre unit – lifted from the Astra VXR – and it’s priced at £29,495. Err, yes – we also feel the SC250’s looks might be a bit of a stumbling block to someone about to flash the best part of £30k on a track-based racer.

McLaren plans three models, including £60k sports car

Tue, 28 Oct 2008

By Tim Pollard Motor Industry 28 October 2008 14:36 McLaren Automotive is readying a family of sports cars to sell alongside its hardcore P11 supercar – including a bargain-basement, £60,000 sports car.  We’re following developments at McLaren’s Woking HQ with interest and – weeks after we published world-exclusive pictures of the P11 styling buck (above) – today we can reveal that McLaren is readying three separate model ranges. McLaren Automotive, the car-building arm of the McLaren Group, is plotting a three-tier range of sports cars, CAR understands. Under the McLaren Development Plan, Ron Dennis and the other directors plan to expand the manufacturing base dramatically.
