Bmw Electronic Heater And Air Conditioning Control Unit For E39 Models 528/540 on 2040-parts.com
Tracy, California, US
For auction is an Original BMW Climate Control Unit that fits E39 BMW's model 528 or 540 manufactured up to September 1998. This Dual setting AC/Heater control unit was rescued out of a 1997 528. Be sure to check the photos that show where the factory harnesses plugs in; there are Four (4) seperate connectors for this control unit. Early E39 BMW's have the "REST" button next to the fan speed switch in the Lower center of the control unit (under the digital readout for the dual climate control settings). Be sure to check your factory installed unit first to make sure it has the same connectors and button options/settings since newer models are different.
The factory part number on this unit is 64-11-8-391-186. The updated (replacement) part number is 64-11-8-375-453. The cost of one of these Control Units is very expensive, They List for $601.98. You can verify and look up all your BMW parts at RealOEM.com.
I have close up pictures of the left and right sides to show that it is fully functional. There is also a picture of the center of the control unit showing the dual temperature settings to control climate on the left and right side of the car, and that all the pixels work.
Note: There is a small crack in the left temp "up" button (it is very tiny and almost not visible when installed in car, see picture 2). It goes from the tip of the red triangle to the edge of the plastic button. Will ship to confirmed Paypal addresses. No PO Boxes.
