This item is an in-line connector specifically designed to join together two fiber optic cables used on the M.O.S.T fiber optic ring found in BMW, Mercedes, Porsche, Audi, Jaguar, Land Rover & VW vehicles. The BMW part number for this connector is 61136906535. Please see the BMW parts diagram attached to this listing (part number 4 on the diagram is this item) M.O.S.T stands for (Media Orientated Systems Transport) fiber optic ring and is used by European vehicle manufacturers to interconnect the audio/visual equipment within their vehicles. We have been advised that other vehicle manufacturers also use the standard M.O.S.T fibre optic ring system including Aston Martin, Honda, Toyota, Volvo, General Motors, Hyundai and Kia. We can see no reason why this in-line connector should not also be fully compatible with these vehicles.
This connector will correctly align the two ends of the fiber optic cables to ensure no data loss or corruption at the joint. Honda says the new Civic Ti takes design cues from the Honda touring car and adds more than £3700 of extras to the 1.4 and 1.8 i-VTEC SE models. The five-door Civic is fitted with 17-inch 'Pro race' matt black wheels from Honda's BTCC racing partner, Team Dynamics. The broody black bodykit includes front spoiler, rear spoiler side inserts and rear body skirts - all contrasting the white pearl paintjob.

Thu, 05 Dec 2013File this under a problem we’ll see more of in the future: An Atlanta Nissan Leaf owner was arrested for stealing five, count ‘em, five cents-worth of electricity from his child’s middle school last month, according to NBC 11 Alive. Kaveh Kamooneh was at Chamblee Middle School where his son was playing tennis. Kamooneh saw the open outlet and figured he’d grab a few electrons while he watched the game.
Subaru BRZ: Increased supply for UK market
Wed, 31 Jul 2013There will be more Subaru BRZs (pictured) in the UK The Toyota GT86, and it’s Subaru BRZ sibling, have been a big hit in the UK, and around the world, with lovers of (almost affordable) sports cars that aren’t overloaded by tech and weight. But until now the BRZ version of the Japanese sports car has been in reactively short supply as Toyota takes the vast majority of production to fill its customers needs, but for those who’d prefer to take the slightly left-field BRZ route, there’s good news. Subaru has announced that they are increasing the supply of BRZs in to the UK market which means car buyers with a hankering should now be able to get a new BRZ in 2-6 weeks (depending on spec and colour).
