It had a slight weep so I replaced it; this one is perfectly reuseable but for safety reasons I strongly urge the bidder/buyer to rebuild it (rebuild kits are available elesewhere at minimal cost @$35). It is OEM and made by Magura. New complete units run @$175 from Beemer Boneyard, FWIW. What you see in the photos is exactly what you'll receive. Please ask all questions before bidding or buying. Vauxhall – Ellesmere Port jobs safe
Thu, 26 Nov 2009Vauxhall's Ellesmere Port Plant will have no job losses It looks like the bulk of the savings that GM need to make in Vauxhall/Opel are going to fall outside the UK, with the news that there will be no job cuts at the Astra-making Ellesmere Port plant and around 340 job losses at Luton. Which is about as good as the news was ever likely to be for Vauxhall workers in the UK. Whatever the outcome of the GM/Magna deal it always seemed likely that Ellesmere Port would be relatively unscathed.
India Vehicle Design Summit 2014 announced for April
Mon, 27 Jan 2014The India Vehicle Design Summit 2014 will be the first in its history to focus exclusively on the ‘design and styling' of commercial and passenger vehicles. Taking place at The Corinthians Resort and Club in Pune from 24-25 April, the summit will feature speakers from brands including Jaguar, Ferrari and McLaren and industry experts from companies such as Volvo, GM and Tata as well as institutions such as the National Institute of Design in India and London's Royal College of Arts. Confirmed speakers include Volvo China's chief designer Gustavo Guerra, renowned designer Peter Stevens and Anil Saiini, director of design at GM India.
