Up for auction is my --COMPLETE-- Ground Control coilover conversion kit I bought a year ago and never installed. This kit works with the M3's EDC system. If you've done any research, installing just the lowering springs other companies offer is NOT the way to go with this car as it will really mess up the awesome handling. The M3 suspension is designed with a progressive foam bump-stop that works in conjunction with the spring. When lowering spring kit are installed, the car now sits on those progressive stoppers and simply ruins the handing. Ground Control fixed all that with this kit. To top it off, it works with the stock Electronic Dampening Control System (EDC) Buy this kit and increase your M3's handling immensely without sacrificing the EDC or the ride quality! The kit is new and has only been opened to make sure it is all there. Buy this kit from me and spend the unnecessary money of you don't have to! I'm starting this auction at -LESS THAN HALF- the price to get it out of my garage. I don't stiffness of the springs is similar to the oem springs so as to match the oem shocks. If you buy stiffer springs and try to match them with the stock EDC, you will feel like your car handles better because if the jolts and bumps, but indeed it will not. I am a professional spring engineer and have done my homework with this suspension. I took photos of the spring part numbers as well for your reference. Once again, this kit is new and never installed.

Here is what the Ground Control website says: (And no, I am not Ground Control)

Equip your E9X BMW M3 with this Coilover Conversion kit specifically designed for M3's with EDC (Electronic Dampening Control).

removal of stock spring seat required front

Expected ride height change from 0 to 1.75 inches

The Kit Includes:

Street camber plates (that allow use of EDC wires)

Adjustable ride height conversion for the stock struts

Front springs, 3 choices because they have to match stock damper valving. The stock damping is pretty good however.

Front sway bar brackets for strut

Front sway bar end link's (adjustable)

Front bump stops

Rear bump stops

Rear ride height adjustment

Rear shock mounts (GC "hybrid" exclusive), allows use of EDC wires.

This spring kit gives you the option to customize the ride height of your vehicle. After several years of use in racing applications, Ground Control spring kits have been adapted for street use. Most other spring kits offer only one set ride height when installed. The Ground Control system's unique design allows for easy adjustment. Simply lift the corner(s) of the vehicle that you wish to adjust and spin the adjustable spring seat up or down to raise or lower the vehicle*. Ground Control spring kits are also designed to be used with either stock or aftermarket shocks.

*Some applications require the use of a provided wrench.

Springs: We are pleased to announce that Eibach has chosen Ground Control as the west coast distributor for their ERS (Eibach Race Spring) line of springs. All of our ride height adjustable kits now exclusively feature Eibach springs. All Eibach springs offer a lifetime warranty against spring rate change and sagging.

Adjusters: All adjusters consist of a threaded sleeve and adjustable spring seat. And are made using high strength 6061-T6 aluminum; anodized for greater durability and appearance. The threads on the adjusters are square cut which locks the adjustable spring seat in place under load. For further precaution, a setscrew in the adjustable spring seat can be used to secure adjustment. Upper spring perches are used to insulate the spring.

Ground Control works very hard with Eibach USA to make these springs to the standards that you demand. Lifetime guarantee on everything, not just springs. No excuses about "racing" or "special". If anything fails, while being correctly installed, it will be taken care of, period. We can only have a guarantee like this because every single part of the Ground Control Street coil-over kit is made by us or someone we trust. None of these parts are made in Taiwan. Everything is made in the USA.

*Kit includes everything you need to convert all four corners using your existing dampers.*

Happy bidding!
