Nissan GT-R 2011/2012 tweaks leak out

The Nissan GT-R 2011 (2012 MY) Nissan don’t seem to be able to stop tweaking, nipping and tucking the Nissan GT-R, so it comes as no surprise to see that there are more changes planned for the 2012 MY (for which read 2011 everywhere bar the USA). We’re expecting those to surface around the same time this year – November – as the 2010 Nissan GT-R updates did last year GTR Blog are reporting the changes well ahead of anything official, but they look as if they’ve got some solid information so it’s worth repeating for the many GT-R nuts out there. Spyker said to be General Motors' only candidate to buy Saab

Spyker Cars NV is the only buyer under consideration for the Saab brand and is seeking to line up funding that will satisfy General Motors Co., a person with direct knowledge of the situation said. Financing has been a main obstacle to a deal, said the person, who declined to be identified because the information isn't public. The proposal from Spyker, a Dutch sports car maker, had included a Russian partner that GM rejected, and Spyker was seeking to arrange financing that didn't include that partner, the person said.

This might be the coolest video we’ve seen this week: a stuntman at last week’s Top Gear Festival at Sydney Motorsport Park in Australia flips over a charging Lamborghini Murcielago. The supercar isn’t traveling even close to peak speed, but the stuntman’s timing, vertical jump and acrobatics are impressive enough. The festival combined a slew of motorsport spectacles and stunts, hosted by UK Top Gear presenters Jeremy Clarkson, James May and “The Stig.”
