Refreshed BMW M30B35 BMW M30 3.5 Liter "Big Six" Engine. Freshened and resealed engine ready to be installed without need to replace gaskets or many other parts. Engine has less than 130k miles overall. Less than a thousand miles since being refreshed with rebuilt cylinder head. In the pictures please note the cleanliness of the inside of the valve cover, the top of the cylinder head and the valve train. Picture of inside of engine via bore scope showing the cleanliness of the pistons. Removed from a 535i which was T boned shortly after having the engine refreshed. Fully rebuilt cylinder head. Cylinder head was resurfaced. Valve seats ground. New valve seals installed. Valve clearance adjusted to specs. Tue, 30 Jul 20131,208 Porsche 911s hit the Silverstone track to celebrate Porsche-s 50th anniversary Last month, we reported that plans by Silverstone Classic to run a record-breaking parade of Porshe 911s to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Porsche had garnered so many applications that Silverstone has to stop accepting applications nearly two months ahead of the event. Now the 2013 Silverstone Classic 911 Parade has happened it seems Silverstone decided to go for broke, and instead of the originally planned parade of 911 911s, they actually managed to drive 1,208 911s round the Silverstone track at the same time – a new record. As well as 1208 911s, Porsche and the organisers of the Silverstone Classic managed to entice a number of names along too, including Mark Porsche – great grandson of Porsche founder, Ferdinand Porsche – former F1 and Le Mans driver Derek Bell and Le Mans drivers John Fitzpatrick and Richard Attwood.

It's a four-day smorgasbord of announcements, team-shop tours, optimistic predictions and the unveiling of new race-car paint schemes, team members and sponsorships. More than 150 writers, broadcasters and photographers will get a steady diet of claims such as “we're excited,” “we've been working harder than ever,” “we feel we've got everything in place” and “we can't wait to get started.” The tour will visit almost every team that plans to run the full series schedule in 2011, teams such as Earnhardt-Ganassi, Stewart-Haas, Penske, Michael Waltrip, Richard Childress, Kevin Buckler's TRG, Team Red Bull, Furniture Row, Richard Petty, Hendrick, Roush-Fenway and Joe Gibbs.
