Up for sale is a 1983 BMW R65 rear taillight.  Functions.  Came off of a running motorcycle.  Normal wear and tear for age (SEE PHOTOS).  Bottom portion of the lens is separated from main, red lens.  Slight chip (See Photoes).  Does not hinder functionality.  Part is used.  Part is functional!  All parts straight.  Ready to use.  Ready to mount.  May fit other models.  Check pictures.  Check parts fiche first!  What is in the pictures is what is being listed for sale.

Mazda's rotary engine stalled, not forgotten

Development of the next-generation rotary engine from Mazda Motor Corp., first unveiled three years ago, is making slow progress despite missing emissions targets. A top Mazda powertrain executive said today that the 1.6-liter rotary engine, called the 16X, is about 30 percent more fuel-efficient than the current rotary engine used in the RX-8 sporty car. In fact, the 16X so far performs slightly better than Mazda's standard two-liter gasoline engine, said Mitsuo Hitomi, general manager of the Japanese carmaker's powertrain division.

Ferrari 599 successor teased in Internet video

Ferrari is following the new SRT Viper playbook by leaking out bits and pieces of its 599 successor on various Internet pages. The darkened photo shown comes from Ferrari.com, while the video was released at the company's media site. Not much information has been shared about the car.

But despite the weather it’s time for Goodwood to present to the 2011 Festival of Speed to the press, and yesterday’s preview turned in to something of a Jaguar spectacular.
