Should Nissan's Juke, Vauxhall's new Mokka and the upcoming Ford Ecosport be worried about a French revolution? This is the new Peugeot 2008, the latest so-called 'compact crossover' to take supermini genes and add an extra helping of ride height and ruggedness. First previewed as a lurid green concept at the 2012 Paris motor show, the production 2008 tones down the show car's angular lights and massive wheels, but sticks true to the idea of a taller, roomier 208 supermini.

It’s clear that this is aimed at parts for older BMWs – where owners wouldn’t normally consider visiting a BMW dealer to grab parts to keep their pride and joy on the road – rather than aiming at the owner of a new M5 grabbing a set of pads to shove on over the weekend. The Peugeot 107 gets a facelift for 2012 Peugeot has revealed a facelift for the 107, with new exterior styling, increased specification and reduced Co2.  The Peugeot 107 is a fun little city car, as we discovered when we reviewed the Peugeot 107 in 2010,  but it’s now getting towards the end of its life, with an all new car due in 2013. But to keep things fresh Peugeot has revealed a facelift for the 107 for 2012 to keep it selling through to the end of its life. That means a new nose, better interior and improved emissions and economy.
