New MINI to be unveiled on 18 November
Mon, 19 Aug 2013The new third-generation MINI Hatch will be revealed at the British brand’s Oxford factory on the 18 November, ahead of a simultaneous showcase at the 2013 LA and Tokyo Motor Shows two days later. In a nice touch from the BMW-owned carmaker, the special unveiling event will be held 107 years to the day since creator of the original Mini, Sir Alec Issigonis, was born. This is VW's new Scirocco GT24 concept and it's appearing at the Wörthersee Tour alongside the Audi TT and A3 Clubsport Quattros. The Volkswagen Scirocco GT24 concept is a road version of the trio of racecars (pictured bottom far right) that will compete in this weekend’s Nürburgring 24-hour race.
Suzuki plans to bring Kizashi to UK in 2011
Tue, 23 Nov 2010Suzuki is evaluating bringing in its Mondeo-rivalling Kizashi family car to the UK market this time next year. The Suzuki Kizashi is already sold in Japan, the US, Australia and New Zealand, but now European importers are beginning to sell the car on the Continent. It's already sold in Switzerland and Norway, German sales begin in winter 2010 and - if the trial goes well - UK sales could kick off in autumn 2011.
