Video-game maker Codemasters is back in the news today, this time with its next driving game for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. The trailer for “Grid Autosport” appeared on YouTube on Tuesday, and it looks like the company is going back to its beginnings. Volvo has released details of an R-Design version of the XC60 Still, more power isn’t everyone’s cup of tea – particularly at the moment – but many buyers like a bit of ‘butchness’ in their cars. And to be completely fair to Volvo, although they haven’t messed with the oily bits for more oomph, they have played with the suspension for more feel. Volvo say the XC60 has improved steering (thanks to ‘Direct Steering Gear’), stiffer damping and a more robust chassis.

BMW 7 Series update Three years after its debut BMW has announced the mid-life revision of the 7 Series, due for launch in spring 2005. The update includes exterior styling enhancements, interior fine-tuning, dynamic developments and a range of new engines. From the front, there is a new headlamp and bumper design, changes to the kidney grilles and enhancement of the power dome on the hood to give the car a more powerful face.
