By Tim Smith First Official Pictures 15 August 2009 03:00 This is the new M saloon, Infiniti’s challenger in the German-dominated executive sector.  The new 2010 Infiniti M was ‘virtually’ unveiled today at the glitzy 59th Annual Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance in California. The new saloon is the third-generation Infiniti M for American and Japanese buyers – but will also come to UK and European showrooms for the first time when it goes on sale in September 2010. The new M will offer American buyers a choice of either a 316bhp 3.7-litre V6 M37, or a 420bhp 5.6-litre V8, badged M56.

It now seems that this is getting closer to reality, as BMW has let it be known that the range of small city cars they are working on as part of the ‘BMW Project i’ will be launched as a ‘Sub Brand’. New Mercedes S Class (pictured) garners 30,000 orders in first 3 months The last Mercedes S Class was with us for getting on for a decade, so it’s no surprise, with a new S Class in the offing, Mercedes ended up cutting S Class production in 2012. But now the new 2014 Mercedes S Class has arrived, and orders are starting to flood in. Mercedes are reporting that in the first three months on sale the new S Class has received more than 30,000 orders, compared to a total of 65,000 orders for the previous S Class in its last year.
