Mercedes C63 AMG Black Series Coupe: Track Pack & Aerodynamic Pack
Mon, 21 Nov 2011Mercedes C63 AMG Black Series Coupe Track & Aerodynamic Pack - lots of photos Mercedes-Benz revealed their latest Black Series car – the Mercedes C63 AMG Black Series Coupe – back in the Summer, complete with a rather frisky 6.2 litre V8 and a 0-60mph of just 4.0 seconds. We then saw on the floor at the Frankfurt Motor Show a C63 Black Series with the addition of a couple of Mercedes add-on packs – the Track Pack and Aerodynamic Pack – which introduced an even harder edge to Mercedes’ most bonkers C-Class. Conceived as a competitor for Rolls Royce, it does seem to have carved itself a niche, but probably not the one that Mercedes wanted. Perceived by most as a tarted-up S Class, and bought by the wealthy of the Playstation generation, rather than the Captains of Industry that Mercedes envisioned, the Maybach must be a loss-maker for Mercedes.
Camaro, Sonic fill the Chevrolet stand at SEMA

The paint on the Hot Wheels car was not actually plugged in to an electrical source to make it glow so bright, but it sure seemed like it was. The idea was to get the same metallic finish that shined on the first 1:64 scale Hot Wheels Camaro, one of the original 16 die-casts that debuted from Mattel in 1968.
